M&M Engineering Limited (M&M) is an industrial mechanical contracting company, incorporated in 1968, with their main office in St. John's, Newfoundland. M&M is now recognized both locally and internationally for not only their quality of work, but also the efficient completion of projects. M&M Offshore Limited is certified by the FFAW, a member union of the Canadian Auto Workers.

CONTRACTING

M&M contracts for industrial mechanical work in a wide range of industries requiring a high degree of technical competence and precision. The company uses high caliber local contractors and tradesmen who can be relied upon and who can handle deadline pressure well. The work can include the manufacture and installation of process piping, storage tanks, industrial equipment, boiler and pressure vessels. M&M provides maintenance services to major industries such as oil refineries, mining, pulp and paper, power generation plants and offshore oil platforms.

FABRICATION

M&M fabricates structural & miscellaneous steel products, storage tanks and pressure vessels using imported steel and an in-house staff of fitters, welders, engineers and quality assurance personnel. M&M manufactures equipment for the offshore oil industry including pipe spooling, flow lines, tote tanks, caisson systems and manifolds.

SERVICES

M&M performs specialized welding with fully qualified welders on a broad range of materials such as duplex, 6 MO, titanium, etc. Welders and welding procedures are certified under the Canadian Welding Bureau and the American Society of Mechanical Engineers Codes. M&M employs up to 100 workers in its fabrication and service facilities. Up to another 500 workers are employed by M&M on its contracting jobs, principally throughout Newfoundland and Labrador at different times during the year.
